Whose Resurrection was it? Whose Second Advent will it be? When will the Second Advent take place? What will the Christ do in His Second Advent?
The purpose of this article is to attempt to answer these questions by offering the self-evident definitions and renditions in the New Testament on the Resurrection of Jesus the Christ, and of the Second Advent of the Christ. As the first of these events has already occurred, and the second, is yet to occur, it is of the highest import to openly decode the Scriptural encoding of these most cherished events for Christianity.
Whose Resurrection was it?
Whose Second Advent will it be?
The Second Advent will be that of the Christ as the Son of Man (Mt 24:30, Mk 13:26, Lk 21:27), not that of the Christ as Jesus, the Son of God, of whom there was and will ever be only one (Heb 13:8), Jesus the Christ, as the only-begotten Son of God.
That is to say, the Second Advent of the Christ as the Son of Man will not be in the person of Jesus, but in a different incarnation involving a totally different human being (Lk 9:26, Lk 17:30, Jn 3:13).
When will the Second Advent take place?
The Second Advent or Revelation of the Son of Man was appointed for a time of specific circumstances (Mt 24:3-51, Mk 13:3-37, Lk 21:7-36) but of an undisclosed date (Mt 24:36, Mt 24:44, Mt 25:13, Lk 12:40). The reason for this is that the event is an event-dependent event, much like the buying of a house is an event dependent on two other events such as the securing the downpaymet for the house and the obtaining of a mortgage. We are urged by Jesus the Christ to watch the "signs of the times" as the key events leading to His return begin to develop:
What will the Christ do in His Second Advent?
Whereas Jesus the Christ as the "Son of God" came as a Savior (Lk 9:56, Lk 19:10) to promote love, forgiveness of sin (Mt 9:6, Mk 2:10), grace, and extend His promises of Peace on Earth (Lk 1:79, Lk 2:14) and an eternal life in this existence (Jn 5:24, Jn 6:27) for us, the Christ in His Second Advent as the Son of Man comes to do Judgment (Mt 16:27, Jn 5:27, Jn 16:7-11, Rv 11:18), war (Mt 10:34, Jn 16:7-11, Lk 12:51, Jn 10:10, Rv 11:18, Rv 17:14, Rv 19:11), put an end to evil and to the Devil (Rv 20:2), and help usher in The Kingdom of God (Mt 16:28, Mt 25:31, Mk 9:1, Lk 21:31), in other words to fulfill all of the promises of Jesus the Christ to all of those who believe in Him (Lk 12:8, Jn 6:27, Jn 12:34-36) and will choose to live (Mt 20:28, Jn 5:24) by His teachings.
The Book of Revelation details the conditions on this Earth at the time of appearance of the Christ as the Son of Man. Although a mixture of mythology, allegory, and foretold real events, the described situation and conditions are that the souls and spirits of the people on Earth are under the bondage (2Thes 2:11, Rv 13:4,7,14, Rv 17:17) of the economic (Rv 13:17) and browbeating intimidation (Rv 13:15) of a group of reptilian humans, the original and eternal Antichrists (1 Jn 2:22, 1 Jn 4:3, 2 Jn 1:7). These are banded together under the Sign of the Beast (Rv 13:16), a secular sign and symbol based on the number six (666) (Rv 13:18), the sign of a very human man, not of anything Godly, Sacred, or Holy. The Beast (666) will influence and browbeat Humanity into accepting the One-World Government (Find: "World Authority" in Beyond the Holocaust: Survival or Extinction? A Survival Manual for Humanity, by Peter A. Zuckerman) of the Antichrist.
As the Beast (666) becomes aware of the appearance and presence of the Christ as the Son of Man, it will become involved in a Battle with Him (Rv 19:19), a Battle that will become open to the sight of a Humanity which will become paralyzed in perplexity and astonishment. Most of the action will not be visible to the human eye, by not being carried out in public or in the open. Only the very Final Battle (Rv 19:19) will be obvious.
Awareness of the sudden and unexpected appearance and presence of the Christ as the Son of Man in His Second Advent, and of His Battle with the Beast (666) for the souls of Mankind, will impose a difficult choice on a paralyzed, perplexed, and astonished Humanity . . .
The choice for Humanity will be between the temporal, uncertain, unreliable, capricious, war-inciting, and risky affluence created by the Beast (666) (International Jewish Bankers and Financiers, and the Zionists), and the false interpretations of the Scriptures offered by its False Prophet (America and it's Apostate American Christian "Leaders") (Rv 13:14) on the one hand, and the Forgiveness of Sin, Peace on Earth, Eternal Life in this existence, and the Kingdom of God offered by the direct Word of God through Jesus the Christ in His First Advent on the other hand.
The Beast (666) will use deceit, lies, intimated and real death threats, reinforced by an equal activity on the part of its False Prophet, both coordinated to discredit, supplant and invalidate the teachings of the Christ in His First Advent as the Son of God (Mk 8:38, Lk 9:26), and to persecute His People (Lk 6:22).
At the onset of the Battle, it will be obvious that this is not to be a match between equal competing combatants (Mt 13:39). The Beast (666), becoming aware that it has but a short time in Power, will then resort to deadly physical force (Rv 19:19), and it will require the intervention of God to overpower, dominate, and physically dispose of the Beast (666) and of its False Prophet (Mt 19:28, Rv 19:20-21).
Food for thought
In the end, The Beast (666) and its False Prophet will both be destroyed by God and His Christ, and will not see Eternal Life and the Kingdom of God in this existence, but will share in their Eternal Damnation, as prophesied:
He that overcometh shall inherit all things;
and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers,
and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with
fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Rv 21:6-8)
